Pettle launches the "Happy Dance" Diwali donation drive
As the festival of Diwali approaches, Pettle, a PetTech company, is stepping away from conventional festival gift-giving by launching an effort to make this Diwali truly special for all – pets, pet lovers, and pet businesses.
Along with traditional presents, Pettle is rallying to make a difference in the lives of lesser fortunate animals and the people doing amazing work through their Animal Welfare Organisations.
Introducing “Happy Dance” – a donation drive that aims to make this Diwali even happier for 4 Animal Welfare Organisations across India.
Why “Happy Dance”?
Whenever something good happens at Pettle – whether that’s closing a large customer, bringing in another investor, or receiving some love for their Pet Business Management App – the team wants to celebrate with a Happy Dance. This Diwali, Pettle wants to extend the joy and the Happy Dancing to those who would benefit from it most.
The “Happy Dance” campaign perfectly aligns with the company’s ethos of being “Problem Solvers, Growth Drivers, and Cheerleaders for Pet Businesses.” This initiative represents Pettle’s commitment to solving real-world problems in the pet industry while fostering its growth and supporting the dedicated individuals behind all pet businesses, and this time, Animal Welfare Organisations.
“In the short time Pettle has spent in the pet industry, we’ve earned two things – a huge network and a little goodwill. We’re looking to combine these to have an impact this festive season.”, said Namishtah Arora, who heads Marketing at Pettle, and is leading the Happy Dance initiative.
Partnerships with purpose
Pettle is partnering with four esteemed NGOs from across India to maximise their impact – Earthling Trust (Delhi), Compassion Unlimited Plus Action – CUPA (Bangalore), My Pal Club (Mumbai) and Furrfolks (Kolkata). Each of these NGOs have been around for over a decade and have been doing impactful work in Rescue & Rehabilitation, Adoption, Senior Animal Care, Medical Assistance, Spreading Awareness. The Happy Dance campaign aims to collect a sizable donation amount for these NGOs to continue doing their good work.
Pettle aims to tap into its deep network of Pet Businesses to be able to raise at least ₹2 lakhs through the campaign. Such an amount, split equally amongst all 4 NGOs, will be extremely impactful and give the NGO owners and animals a good reason to smile and wag their tails respectively.
Along with monetary donations, Pettle will be gifting each NGO a curated Happy Dance Goodie Bag, sponsored by Pet Set Go, Basil, and Doggocracy. The Pettle team plans to spend a day at the NGOs, sharing gifts and covering the work they do.
