Pet Fed - India’s Biggest Pet Festival Is Back After 3 Years

Pet Fed, India’s Biggest Pet Festival & Limca World Record Holder of ‘Biggest Dog Carnival’, is back after a wait of three long years with its annual editions in Bengaluru, Delhi & Mumbai happening in November, December & January respectively at much bigger, better & greener scale. Pets give us a lifetime of joy and in return ask nothing of us, so the goal is to give all pet lovers the opportunity to give back a fun weekend to these pure souls.

Pet Fed is spread across a 3 acres festival ground with an adorable and fun list of activities, including Police dog shows affiliated with the Indian Armed Forces, International cat show, Pet’s Got Talent, pet fashion show and much more. With a dedicated play zone for cats and dogs respectively and an independent agility ring for more activities, over 400 products and services from the Indian and international pet care industry will be on display to help visitors make better choices for their fur babies. The festival is also open to those who don’t have pets but want to join Pet Fed to love and celebrate pets. 

Speaking on the occasion, Pet Fed founder Akshay Gupta mentioned, “We are thrilled to be back after two years, the pandemic had taken a toll on everyone, a lot of people during this time turned to pets for companionship and comfort and adoptions saw a massive increase.

Pet Fed’s aim this year is to give back to our furry friends, to celebrate with the parents and welcome new ones into our small community. We want them to have a good time and this is our way of thanking them for all that they have done for us. Pet Fed is more than just a festival, it is also a source of infotainment for a variety of activities and competitions for pets and their parents. It is also a platform that bridges the gap between pet parents and new innovations in the pet industry”.

Bengaluru – 19th & 20th November, 2022 at Jayamahal Palace Grounds.
Delhi – 17th and 18th December, 2022 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla.
Mumbai – 21st and 22nd January, 2023 at JVPD Grounds, Juhu.

Highlights of the pet festival 2022: 

1. Limca World Record Holder – Pet Fed, India’s biggest annual pet festival 2022, holds the prestigious Limca Book of Records as the ‘Biggest Dog Carnival.’ With over 962 dogs which articipated over two days for the record and footfall of more than 19,400 humans, this biggest pet socialization carnival happens every year across Bengaluru, Delhi & Mumbai 

2. Master Class- A specialized masterclass for Pet Groomers and Pet Parents with information and tips by a well renowned industry expert to help maintain pet hygiene, working with pets and comforting them to have a smooth grooming session. 

3. International Cat Show in association with Global Feline Alliance & Cat Club of India – After the huge success of the international cat show, we are going bigger this year with an exclusive association with the Global Feline Alliance that will hold elaborate Cat Shows recognizing all breeds of cats now which is a great addition for the Indie Cats on both days of the festival for cat parents & cats to participate in, show off their cattitude & if they win – be eligible to participate in cat shows across the world.

4. Police Dog Show – We set up a demo show at the festival by police dogs’ squad. A security dog is specially trained to alert you of trouble and to prevent suspicious and criminal activity through fierce barking. If an offender does enter your property, fully trained protection dogs may disable the offender, on their own or on command.

5. Adoption Camps – With #AdoptDontShop being one of our major initiatives, we want to raise awareness around adoption being an ideal way to bring home a pet instead of buying, along with various NGOs including World For All, CUPA, PFA etc. 

6. Dedicated Play Areas & Agility Ring – There are dedicated play zones for Cats & Dogs with 1 Play Zone & 1 separate Agility Ring for dogs, as well as a special fully indoors Cat Zone along with a Kitty PlayPen for cats. This will ensure a purr-fect fun time & aww-dorable moments for pets & their parents in the various swings, balls pools, slides & mazes curated for all our paw-some pet visitors.

7. Fashion Show – This is a fun activity where the humans and their pets dressed in amazing pet couture walk down the ramp in style. The showstopper gets to walk the ramp with the actor Dino Morea & everyone gets to play pup-arazzi to capture this treat for the eyes.

8. Retail Therapy & More – With over 150 brands from across India and abroad, pet owners will get to indulge in the best of products and services which they usually would not be aware of. There are also Food & Drinks available for hoomans where they can chill with their pets, eat, drink & celebrate!

9. Free Desi Ticket – To encourage more and more people to adopt our beloved Indies and give them a loving home, we extend a Free Entry to the parents of Indie/Desi Pets at our festivals.
